Peaceful Sounds In Alaska Policies
First I want to say that with all of my heart I wish that these pages never needed to be written and all transactions were done with joy and gratitude and kindness to one another.
All Custom flutes require a minimum 2/3 total deposit that insures that both parties keep their part of the verbal or written agreement. It is however the choice of the client to pay in full for services in the creation of their flute...:)
All flutes that are available for sale and have been created before hand are marked as
AVAILABLE FOR SALE
on either the home page or the items for sale page. All other flutes viewed on the website not marked as available for sale can be recreated as closely as possible but the client must understand that (mother nature doesn't make copies ) and coloration may vary in shade and texture of the wood grains viewed in the photos.
Clients are encouraged to contact the flute maker
To find out whether or not there is an availability of the TYPES OF WOOD, COLORS AND additional COST OF ALL WOODS HE MAY HAVE IN THE SHOP OR AT HIS DISPOSAL TO PURCHASE AT THAT TIME.
If a coloration or type of wood is the preferred choice of the client and they wish for the flute maker to seek out that shade or texture of materials the client should understand that this may extend the
FLUTE TO BE MADE BY DATE
THAT WAS AGREED UPON VIA
CLIENT MAKER TIME TABLE
this will require patience on the clients part to ensure not only the happiness of the client but the satisfaction of the maker that a quality product has gone from the shop without flaw.
Good communication and descriptions of what the clients needs are is an important part of this process..again patience is the key..no flute will leave the shop without the approval of the maker even if the time table agreed upon needs to be extended for a reasonable additional period of time, and this need will be communicated to the client.
Shipping, Returns, Refunds, Deposits and No Pay Policies
Upon completion of your flute the client will be informed of its mailing and be provided with tracking and insured information pertaining to their item. All packages are insured for their full value so the client can rest easy that their purchase is secure. It is the choice of the client as to which carrier they wish the item to be shipped . The safest and most cost effective way to ship will be provided at the cost of the client.
In the instance that a flute is damaged in the mailing process the flute maker must be informed immediately. As the claim to recover cost is a timely issue with all carriers of package post deliveries. The item will be shipped back at the makers cost. The client will be provided with a prepaid shipping label for return.
The client must
PACK. SHIP, AND INSURE THE PACKAGE IN THE SAME MANNER THE FLUTE WAS SHIPPED ORIGINALLY.
The flute maker must be given the opportunity to remake or repair the flute to the clients satisfaction.
If the client is not satisfied with the recreation of the flute a FULL REFUND WILL BE GIVEN..minus shipping costs.
In this case a reasonable time frame for refund will be agreed upon by the maker and the client not to exceed 40 business days for the return of funds ,when the flute is returned to the maker as of that date is returned and received.
When the client receives their flute and it does not meet their expectations the maker must be given the opportunity to remake or change the items design to fit the needs of the client. If however the client feels at that time that they wish to return the item and request a refund...
A FULL REFUND WILL BE GIVEN...MINUS SHIPPING COST
a reasonable time frame for refund will be agreed upon by the flute maker and the client not to exceed 40 business days from the return of the item and received my the maker.
Some special circumstances where the client wishes to exchange the flute for another
SIZE..( LENGTH) STYLE, KEY NOTE. OR TYPE OF WOOD the Cost and terms of the exchange can be agreed upon by the maker and the client to fit the clients needs (we welcome filling the needs of the client)
The client must
PACK, SHIP, AND INSURE THE PACKAGE IN THE SAME MANNER AS WAS SHIPPED ORIGINALLY
Refunds and exchanges are dependent on the condition of the return item (FLUTE).
IF DENTS. BRUISES, GASHES OR SCRAPES..ECT... OCCUR TO THE FLUTE BEFORE ITS RETURN
a refurbish fee will be charged of $75.00 to accommodate the resell of the flute and will be deducted from the refund.
( so if you intend to return it be careful with it before and while packing it for return)
If the flute was damaged because it was not properly packed on its return and damages occur in the shipping process the insurance will be voided by the shipping carrier and no recoup of item cost can be claimed.
Upon receiving the flute it will be inspected and the client will be informed of its status and the refund policy is in effect from that date. 40 business days to refund minus shipping costs
If there is ever a failure of the flute structurally
the flute maker must be given the opportunity to replace or repair the flute at no cost of shipping or remake to the client. After a 30 day period of the possession of the flute by the client this refund and exchange policy expires and no refund can be given.
Proper care and instructions of your flute are provided to insure that the health of your flute will be maintained. Not following these care instructions will jeopardize the condition of your flute and void the refund policy.
Like any musical instrument there are certain things that by exposure to them can cause your flute to fail. So read the care instructions and follow it religiously PLEASE!!
WE ALSO UNDERSTAND THAT UNFORESEEN THINGS HAPPEN .
We would happy after the 30 days expire on the refund policy to try Repair, Refinish and Alter the condition of your flute at the cost of shipping both ways by the client and an agreed cost of refurbish and or repair...:) if it is possible we would like to try and help!! some things can be fixed!!!...:)
If you have placed a 2/3 deposit on a flute and come into some sort of financial issue. ( LIFE HAPPENS!!)..communicate with us about the situation. And maybe we can help, by setting up a payment plan or postponing payment for a later time. Communication is the key here!!!
If at dire need the funds are need by you for whatever issue let us know and we will strive to get the funds back to you as soon as possible...a written email or communication call is required for such a situation.
When a flute is completed
The client will be contacted that payment is required to complete the transaction before the item is mailed.
Unless there is an agreed upon a payment date the client has 3 weeks to complete payment or deposit is forfeit.
After a 30 day period if the flute is still unpaid for the flute will be placed for sale to recoup the cost of the making of the flute. If the flute has sold... no requests for another flute to be made will be accepted without full payment for another flute (which the original deposit amount can be applied to).
ONCE THE FLUTE MAKER BEGINS MAKING YOUR FLUTE AT ANY STAGE OF THE MAKING PROCESS
Canceling and order before its completion or made by date. is penalized by the client paying for all material and time accumulated in the engagement of making their flute.
The client will be offered by mail to receive the possession of the materials acquired as they did pay for them, but they must pay for the hours spent in procuring items and labor with the creation of the flute. These cost will be deducted from the amount of the refund.
Canceling and order requires a statement in writing or email that indicates the intention of withdrawal from the verbal or written contract for custom made flute. Upon this request 60 business days are required for any part of a refund to be returned as the schedule kept by the flute maker has been altered. Other clients must not suffer from the change in the time tables. Payments to the client are an acceptable way for REFUND to be made as long as it does not exceed the 60 business days allowed to refund. No refunds to the credit card are allowed in this case because fees have been paid to the merchant card provider which are not refundable to the company ..as the breach or cancellation of contract was in part by the client.
Communication is they best option for both the flute maker and the client!!!
